In this article, we showed you how to create a Free-To-View Live Channel. In this one, we will show you how to GO LIVE via an external streaming app. We are using OBS Studio and you can download it for free here.
- Below is where we left off and we will want to click on “TURN ON” to turn on your channel before you go LIVE.
- Once your channel is ON, click on “Go Live With External Streaming App”.
- A pop-up will appear where you can choose which streaming app you wish to use to live stream. We are using OBS Studio as mentioned so make sure you click on “Copy” to copy the stream key.
- Go to OBS Studio and click on ‘Settings’ > “Stream” > “Service” > “Show all” > “WpStream” > Paste Stream key > OK
- Make sure you add your media source and then click on “Start Streaming”
- Go back to your channel and click on “View Channel”
- You are now LIVE! To end your live stream, simply go back to OBS Studio and click on “Stop Streaming”
