# Record Live Stream

Enabling 'Record Live Stream' will record your live stream and move it to 'Recordings' under 'WpStream' so that you can download the video file, create a Free-To-View VOD or and Pay-Per-View / Subscription VOD.

Recording a live stream will use Recording Hours from your plan.

If you disable this, your live stream will not be recorded and no Recording Hours will be used.
